How to Access and Toggle Chat History
This tutorial explains how to access and use chat history, enabling you to search for and review past questions and answers. It also covers how to enable or disable chat history in account settings.

This will open chat history, which allows you to revisit past questions and answers.

You can search your chat history using keywords, and hovering over each entry reveals the timestamp of the conversation

Clicking an entry allows you to view the original question and answer

You can also click this button to download a past conversation to PDF format, with all hyperlinked citations intact

Chat history is enabled by default and retains all past questions and answers indefinitely. To reset or disable chat history, click the portrait icon, then select Account.

Click Manage under Settings

Click here to disable chat history. Only the owner account—the original account creator—can access these settings. Changes made here apply to all users invited by the owner.

Click Save.

Confirm the deletion of past chat history and the disabling of the chat history feature by clicking Save.

Chat history can be re-enabled at any time. Turning it off and then back on will permanently erase all previous chat history, effectively resetting it from scratch.
