Upgrading Quick Trade Ninja

In the Ninja Trader Control Center, click "Tools".

Then click "Remove NinjaScript Assembly..."

A window will appear listing all the NinjaScript Add-Ons that you have installed.

Find and select the QTN installation.

Click "Remove" to continue.

A warning message will appear, indicating that all QTN related features will be removed.

Please remember to save your QTN configurations with your chart templates before removing and upgrading QTN.  This will allow you to access them after the upgrade without reconfiguring.

Click "Yes" to continue.

The final message indicates the need to restart Ninja Trader for the old version of QTN to be completely removed.

Click "OK".

You can close the "Remove NinjaScript Assembly" window.

Then when ready, restart Ninja Trader.

After restarting Ninja Trader, follow the steps to install the new version of QTN.  You can follow the "Installing Quick Trade Ninja" guide found on our support page.

While installing an upgraded version of QTN, you may encounter the following error message.

Click "Yes" and proceed with the installation.
